I had a really great and productive office day. I’m actually all caught up right now, which is one of the very best feelings! I was so happy to see my girls and Greg walk and crawl through the door at about 5:30pm. I had even started dinner in peace and quiet but still needed two things, so we took a trip around the corner. We moved this spring, and one of the things we love about our location is our extremely close proximity to a health foods store, LifeSource. It is spendy so we don’t do our regular grocery shopping here, but it’s certainly fun and convenient when looking for certain items or to grab a few things to finish dinner. So this photo was taken right before we left the house – Ver and I are ready! She may be one year old now, but she’s still my baby and loves a quick ride in the Ergo. I love the extra snuggles I get.

Amity loves taking a trip to LifeSource. It’s a quick walk around the corner. She was in a grumpy mood after school (she told us this), but the idea of going here perked her right up! The multiple reasons she loves it: pushing the “girl carts,” trying samples at the door, putting items into her “girl cart,” getting cheese sticks, loading items onto the conveyor belt, and last but not least getting wooden coins to donate to causes like “GMO Free Food.” Pretty sure she doesn’t know what GMO Free Food means, but oh well, she’ll learn. This is a random note about today but at dinner I asked how Chapel time was at school and her response was, “There was no panicking, no screaming, and no crying.” Hmmmm?
