Baby Photos in the Garden – Summer Location Perfection

Are you ready to say goodbye to summer?

Yeah. Me neither.

Summer here in Salem, Oregon has been slooooooow on the uptake and definitely cooler than years past. Way more clouds and I’m just not stocked up on my vitamin D for the next 9 months yet!!

So here’s hoping for an extended summer this September!
**fingers crossed!**

And what shall we do with this extended summer weather should Mother Nature grant us all of our wishes?

Keep photographing all our babies and families outside, of course!

I did a nine-month baby milestone session for Oliver at a garden here in South Salem, and am absolutely smitten with the photos. It made for a great family photo location. I think there is still a lot of backdrop at this garden so let me know if you’d like to schedule a session here soon.

Fun fact about this session: it took place at 7:00 am.

That’s right. Bright and early.

Mid-August is a hard time for baby sessions because the sun sets so late and babies normally are long in bed by the time sunset rolls around. We still got that golden sunlight by meeting way early in the morning just after sunrise!

Sunflowers and portraits go together like peanut butter and jelly. MmmMm! Perfection! All the sunflowers in bloom at this garden were magical.

Oliver sure loves his mama! This photo says it all!

We took these photos in mid-August. The garden was overflowing with blooming flowers and ripening vegetables – case in point these low growing nasturtiums!

If your baby is approaching a milestone age during her first year like three-months, six-months, nine-months, or one-year send me an email and lets chat about gettering her photos taken. These ages and stages go by in a flash, you won’t regret having them professionally photographed.
