Searching for and hiring a newborn photographer is a lot of work. You’ve probably emailed several photographers and waded through different pricing structures, product offerings, and personalities. It’s important to find a photographer who offers what you’re looking for and someone you feel you can trust.
Then prepping for the photos is a job. You need to decide what to wear, pack a diaper bag, and get yourselves to the studio. Phew!
Having big life events professionally photographed, like your wedding and the arrival of a new baby, are investments.
So is all the effort and expense worth it?
Time and time again, I hear from my clients that it is, indeed, worth every effort and every penny. Here’s what my client, Brigitte had to say:
With our session date and time scheduled with Katie, I felt so relieved. I knew we would capture our baby at the perfect time.
I was a little hesitant because I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the cost. It was totally worth it, though.
He was five days old, and she was so good with him. A natural with babies for sure! He was so happy and content; he slept the whole time! Katie was warm and inviting, treating my baby like he was her own. She made a genuine effort to get to know my husband and me by asking questions and sharing about her own life.
Once I got our newborn photos back and shared them with friends and family, they said: He was so tiny!! You’re so smart to have captured him at such a young age. He’ll never be that small again!
