2019 Baby Names

Trends!

Do you like keeping up with the trends?

Like so many other things, there are also popular trends in the world of baby names. I’ve just finished compiling a list of the baby names for the newborns I photographed in 2019!

Marisa Lascala writes for Good Housekeeping about the Most Popular Baby Names for 2019. And you’ll see that some of the national name trends are right in line with the Portland and Salem baby names I saw come through my studio! Two very popular nationally trending girl names were “Ava” and “Evelyn.” The one boy’s name that is on the national top 10 and that I saw was “Oliver.”

So, without further ado, I bring you the baby names of 2019:

According to BabyNames.com names like ‘Stanis’ for boys (while spelled slightly differently), is inspired by the character Stannis Baratheon from the George R.R. Martin novels Song of Ice and Fire which led to the wildly popular Game of Thrones series. Names like ‘Uriah’ and ‘Cy’ have also once again come into popularity for boys.
