2019 Year in Review
At the beginning of the year, I like to take stock of the last year and nerd out over the numbers a little. I find it interesting to see how my business is growing year by year. For instance, this past week, I sat down and figured out that in
2017 I photographed 44 newborns,
in 2108 I photographed 39 newborns,
and this past year, in 2019, I photographed 49 newborns!
Safe to say, a goal of mine for 2020 is to break that 50 mark ; )
But the numbers aren’t important. What’s important is that 49 babies are safely earthside, and they were photographed just weeks after being born. They’ll forever be remembered, just as they were when they first stole their parent’s hearts.
I put together a little video featuring one photo from each of my newborn sessions this past year — honestly, its emotional for me watching this. I pour my heart into these sessions. I can feel the seasons of the year pass as I watch it.
