Christmas 2020 at the Studio

Christmas at my studio is looking a little different this year! Definitely quieter because of the pandemic that we are still walking through.

Like always, Christmas really happens in October and November in the photography world. This is because I like to have all images returned by Dec. 1st so that you have enough time to make and order your Christmas cards. Having them all done by Thanksgiving would be even better! I think I’ll aim for that next year.

Santa Sessions Had to Wait

Probably the biggest bummer was not being able to do the 2nd annual Santa Sessions this year because of Covid. It just didn’t make sense. I didn’t want to put my Santa at risk. Not a great time for a high volume even in my very small studio. Next year though!

Christmas Jammies

I have traditionally done Christmas Jammie sessions, and while I didn’t market them this year or hold a large event like I normally do, I did schedule a few by appointment only when asked.

I’m trying to decide if I should do both Christmas Jammies and Santa Sessions next year. What do you think?

Holiday Clothing from Feltman Brothers

I also photographed some really darling holiday clothing for Feltman Brothers. Feltman Brothers specializes in vintage baby clothes for boys and girls. Do you order special holiday outfits for your kiddos each year? Unfortunately, I’m lucky if I can get my children looking decent for a Christmas Eve service! They love their loungewear…

Not everyone was pleased about being photographed. Ha! Just look at that side-eye baby brother is giving me!! If looks could kill, right?
