Some new friends we met at Bush Park told us about this park, Nelson City Park.  It had a great playground that we enjoyed for a while.  Once the girls’ hands started to turn to ice we packed it in, and as we were getting in the car I saw the light hitting this tree just so.  Amity obliged and we made this photo.

Our happy girl.  See all those top teeth coming in?  Such a trooper.  I think the worst is done – both of the top teeth have broken the gum now.

Oh the buttons.  She wants to wear this sweater every. day.  She watched an episode of Daniel the Tiger which taught how to do buttons, “Peek-a-Boo, Pull-it-Thru!”  And seriously it works.  She totally can do buttons now.  Who needs to parent when Daniel the Tiger can teach your child all essential skills she needs to know to survive in life?  The problem is the sleeves are now pretty high water but I havne’t had the heart to tell her that she can’t have it anymore.

I was taking photos of the Poush family and we grabbed one of the three girl cousins.  I love this one because I can literally HEAR Amity’s laugh.  She Looooves her cousins, and the boys were doing quite the song and dance behind me.

Look at that little determined face.  Man, this girl is so awesome.  She is getting better and better at walking with hands.  Today she stood by herself for a few split seconds and walked holding onto only one hand.  Very wobbly, but I think my guess of walking at 14 month still holds.

Guess who took a 3 1/2 hour nap today?  Verity!  Oh, it was nice.  Amity and I played with tangrams while little sister finished her long nap.

This gal was happy after a marathon 3 1/2 hour nap.  Boy, wish I could have slept for 3 1/2 hours this afternoon!  I can’t even remember what Amity was doing here, but it sure got her giggling.  Love the binky face smile.
