Pricing is a la carte, so parents order only what they want. I offer a 20% discount coupon for the first two weeks photos are available.
You’re not alone. Many preschool directors have the same concerns at first. Here’s how I make the process smooth and enjoyable for everyone—with just a little help from your team:
"It’s too much work for our staff."
I take care of the heavy lifting—bringing in the setup, handling the lighting, and photographing each child. That said, a little help goes a long way. Kids feel most at ease with familiar faces, so I rely on staff to help guide the kids to and from photos and coax out those sweet smiles when needed.
"Parents don’t usually buy the photos."
With natural, timeless images and a simple online ordering process, parents actually want to purchase these portraits. Many even order prints for gifts.
"We already have a photographer."
If you’re not thrilled with the results or experience, it might be time for a fresh, boutique approach. I offer a more personalized, high-quality option that families truly love.
"Some families may not want to spend a lot."
There’s no upfront cost to the school, and parents only order what they love. As a bonus, families receive 20% off their photo order during the first two weeks the gallery is live.
"We don’t want to deal with payments."
You don’t have to. All ordering and payments are handled directly through a private online gallery.
"Our space might not work for photos."
I bring everything I need and I’m great at working with small or multi-use spaces. Plus, you can choose a backdrop that fits your school’s look and vibe.

Every school is unique and your preschool photos should reflect that! You’ll have the option to choose a backdrop that fits your school’s personality. Whether it’s a solid color that matches your school colors, a playful seasonal theme, or something fun like rainbows or stars, I’ll work with you to find the perfect fit. The goal is to create portraits that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and tailored to your community.

Class photos are done in a modern composite style. Instead of trying to wrangle a whole class of busy little ones into a single group photo, I photograph each child individually and then create the class photo digitally.
This method not only helps each child look their best (no awkward expressions or closed eyes) but also means that no one gets left out. If a student happens to miss Photo Day, I can still include them in the final class image.
I can also customize the design of the class photo to include your school’s name and logo, creating a keepsake that feels personal and professional.
Most schools only need one picture day. I’ll work closely with you to create a schedule that fits your class sizes and daily routines. If your school has a larger number of students or part-time programs, we can add a second day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
I arrive before students to allow time for setup and aim to finish by lunchtime, when children are happiest and most comfortable. This schedule allows for up to approximately 150 students to be photographed in a day.
I encourage families to bring their child on Picture Day whenever possible, even if it’s not their usual attendance day. If anyone is still unable to attend, I’m happy to schedule a short return day the following week so every child and staff member has the opportunity to be photographed. This also ensures all families receive their galleries at the same time and every child is included in the class composite.
I personally photograph every Picture Day from start to finish. To help the day run smoothly and feel comfortable for the children, I’m grateful to have a dedicated helper from the school whenever possible. Someone familiar to the students is especially helpful with transitions, quick touch-ups, and keeping the flow moving in a relaxed, cheerful way. If a school helper or parent volunteer isn’t available, I’m also happy to arrange to bring an assistant.
Yes! I'm happy to photograph siblings together. I just ask that the director bring the older sibling in when it's the youngest sibling’s turn to be photographed.
Galleries are ready to view approximately 7 to 10 business days after the final photo day. Families have a 30-day ordering window for printed photo packages. If digital files are purchased, they are delivered immediately after checkout.
Very little. I provide all equipment and manage the flow of Picture Day from start to finish. Schools receive clear instructions ahead of time, and I simply request class rosters and family email addresses so I can communicate directly and handle ordering online.
A gym or an unused classroom works beautifully for Picture Day. At a minimum, I’ll need a clear 12' x 12' space to set up the backdrop and lighting.
Complimentary staff photos are offered as a thank you to the amazing teachers and team members who make your school special. Each staff member will receive a professional headshot, and I provide the images to the school for use on your website, newsletters, or staff boards. It’s a simple way to add something extra and show appreciation for your team.
Katie came to our site to do class pictures for my preschool kids with disabilities. She was patient, understanding and used a variety of gadgets to obtain great photos for parents to choose from. Katie could not have been more helpful and professional in making this so easy for my families to register, view and order the pictures they wanted. Here is a response from one of my families: We have already ordered and received our pictures and we absolutely LOVE them!! Thank you again for working so hard to get those AMAZING pictures that really capture his spirit 😃
