2020 Shoot & Share Photo Contest Awards

This year I entered the Shoot & Share photo contest. It’s completely anonymous and all about the photos. You can submit up to 50 photos and there are 28 different categories you can submit to. Guess which category I went all-in with?

Surprise, surprise ; )

Anyone can vote and it lasts for a few weeks. Oddly and wonderfully it aligned with our shutdown here in Oregon. This was one of my favorite quarantine pastimes. I spent way too many hours voting for photos.

You are shown 4 random photos from across all of the categories and you pick your favorite photo of those shown. Then you are shown a new batch of 4 photos and you pick your favorite. And you do that over and over, forever and forever. haha! I got a few friends addicted to voting too.

Every once in a while I’d see one of my photos pop up and then I’d know it was still in that particular round – it was very thrilling!

One of my photos made it into the top 100! Baby Atlas’s yawn won everyone over. Two were finalists, eleven were in the top 10%, eleven were in the top 20%, and nine in the top 30%.
