A while ago, I decided I did want to teach, but the big group setting was not for me. I offer one-on-one newborn mentoring sessions. You get all of my attention, and I get all of yours. It's a much more intimate experience than a group workshop. You don't have to vie for space in a crowded room and try to make your voice heard over those who are more outspoken…and neither do I! This will be you and me. Your questions will guide and steer our conversations. I will demonstrate what you want to see and what you are struggling with.

There are a few boxes you need to be able to check for this session to be a good fit and investment for you:
• comfortable photographing in manual mode with a DSLR camera
• have one prime lens (I recommend a 50mm or 35mm)
• Lightroom experience
• Evoto experience
• Photoshop experience
I like to schedule these on a Thursday or Friday - you let me know which day is best for you.

• Posing - my focus is on authentic and timeless poses. No froggy or upright potato sack here!

• Lighting! I use studio light, and will teach you my method
• Camera Angles - achieve a great variety in your gallery with fewer poses and more camera angles
• Macro images - moms and dads love those baby feet and lips, make sure you know how to deliver those images
• Workflow
• Post-Processing in Lightroom and Photoshop
• Marketing your newborn photography business
I know that during our session, things are moving quickly, and you're trying to remember everything. Don't worry! I will be giving you a printed booklet that has tons of notes and links to all of the things we're going over, and it's a nice place for you to jot down additional thoughts.
What We'll Cover
The price for a full day of mentoring with me is $2,800.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is made to book the mentoring session, and then you can pay the remaining balance a week before our session.
